According to the syllabus of the TIFR Examination question pattern follow (MCQ) Multiple Choice Question. Similar to CSIR NET or GATE Question. Total of 40 Questions, each correct answer gets 3-marks and each wrong answer is reduced the 1-mark. If you do not attempt any questions, marks will not be given or not reduced marks. I am not complete my Graduation, I am eligible for TIFR Exam?
If you are a student of 3rd year in Graduation then yes you are eligible for TIFR Examination. You can choose the stream: Integrated Ph.D. (M.Sc. + Ph.D.). If you 1st or 2nd year of a student in a Bachelor of science or equivalent degree course then you are not eligible for TIFR Examination.
For PhD: M.Sc./ B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Pharm. or equivalent degree. You can fulfill this criterion then you can apply for Ph.D. enrollment.
For I-PhD (M.Sc. and Ph.D.): B.Sc./ B.Pharm./ B.S. or equivalent degree. You can fulfill these criteria then you can go to apply for integrated Ph.D. enrollment.
For Ph.D.: M.Sc./M.S. in Physics or equivalent degree students are eligible for this entrance examination.
For I-Ph.D.: B.Sc./ M.E./M.Tech./B.S./B.E./B.Tech. / B.Chem. in Physics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree all candidate is eligible for this TIFR Examination.
For Ph.D.: Masters in Basic Science (M.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ any branch of Biology) or any professional Master's Degree (M.Pharma./M.Tech.). Candidates are eligible for TIFR Examination.
For I-Ph.D./M.Sc.: Bachelors in any Basic Science (Physics/ Chemistry/Mathematics/any branch of Biology) or candidate achieve must be 4-years course.
For PhD: M.Sc./ M.A./ M.Stat./ M.Math./ or equivalent degree. You can fulfill these criteria then you can apply for Ph.D. enrollment.
For I-PhD (M.Sc. and Ph.D.): B.Math./B.Stat./B.A./B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree. You can fulfill these criteria then you can go to apply for integrated Ph.D. enrollment (completing a Master's degree).
