GATE is a national examination conducted by IISc Bangalore and other seven members IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) under the aegis of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

Online Application Gate 2022: conducted by IIT Kharagpur

ELIGIBILITY: Currently Studying in the 3rd Year or higher years of any undergraduate degree, completed any Indian government approved degree program in Science/ Commerce / Engineering / Technology/ Architecture/ Arts. The postgraduate candidate is also eligible for the GATE 2022 examination. Must be Indian candidates who are eligible for GATE examinations. This is the gate 2022 eligibility Criteria.

• The total number of subjects: GATE Examination total number of subjects 29.
• GATE 2022 Examination two NEW Subjects introduced. Their subjects are One Geomatics Engineering and  Another Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
• This examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) in an offline examination center.
• What is the age limit in the GATE 2022 examination: there is NO age limitation.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and other Institute IISC Bangalore, IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee. All Indian Institute for a coordinator with and organized the GATE examination graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE). This year Gate 2022 Conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur IIT Kharagpur. Every year different types of Indian Institutes participate or organize GATE examinations. In 2023 GATE examination was conducted by IIT Kanpur and Gate 2024 GATE examination was conducted by IISC Bangalore.

1.  Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) in Bangalore, CV Raman Road, Karnataka.
2. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay  (IIT Bombay)  Research University in Mumbai.
3. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi  (IIT Delhi)  in New Delhi, IIT Campus.
4. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati)  in Guwahati, Assam, North India.
5. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur)  in Kanpur.
6. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT  Kharagpur)  in KHARAGPUR, MIDNAPUR.
7. Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT  Madras)  in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
8. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT  Roorkee)  in Uttarakhand.

All Universities are participating in the GATE Examination. This year it was conducted by IIT Kharagpur. All Institutes are the most Ranking institutes.

GATE 2022 PAPERS:

Total 29 subjects or papers are included in GATE 2022 examination two extra papers are included this year. 29 papers are short form. There will be help for your form filling of application for the GATE examination.

They are all subjects shown below.

WHAT IS THE APPLICATION FEE GATE 2022 EXAMINATION

The application fees for GATE Examination: Female / SC / ST / PwD candidates Regular fees payment- 750/- and In case Extended Period- 1250/-( including late fee). And GENERAL / OTHER candidate Regular fees -1500/-,  In case Extended Period- 2000/-(Including late fee).

ONLINE APPLICATION:

Gate 2022 exam registration date

• Online Application start from, 30th August 2021
• Online Application last date, 24th September 2021 ( gate 2022 registration last date)
• End of the EXTENDED period for Online Registration (with late fee), Friday, 1st October 2021.

GATE 2022 Examination date

The examination date distribute a total of 4 days -

 Saturday 5th February 2022,  two-session time one 9:00AM to 12:00 noon and 2nd session start 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

 Sunday 6th February 2022, two-session time one 9:00AM to 12:00 noon and 2nd session start 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

 Saturday 12th February 2022,  two-session time one 9:00AM to 12:00 noon and 2nd session start 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

 Sunday 13th February 2022,  two-session time one 9:00AM to 12:00 noon and 2nd session start 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 

All examinations of GATE 2022 were Completed within two weeks. On 5th to 13th February 2022

DATE OF EXAMINATION:

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination 2022 of the candidates undergraduate OR Postgraduate subjects in Engineering / Technology / Architecture. And post-graduate, Undergraduate level subjects in Arts, Commerce, and Science. GATE 2022 was conducted for 29 different subjects.

 Examination dates will be distributed on different dates also Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th, Saturday 12th, and Sunday 13 of February 2022. Total four days distributed by GATE examination 2022.

Note:

The gate 2020 score validity for the qualification certificate will be valid for three years announced by GATE Official notification.

What should be required for GATE 2020 application form filling?

• One identity card like voter identity card, Aadhar identity card, or driving license, etc. Must be a Valid photo identity card very very important for the Form filling of gate 2022 examination. valid photo identity card.

 then view your answer paper and mark GATE score and then GATE scorecard will be download

Registration:

 A candidate first of all registration by your official Gmail ID. It is to be 1 Gmail ID also be required and fast registration provides full name and as per valid photo identity which must be original with appearing Gate 2020 examination at the examination center. A valid email addresses mobile number and chosen password.  one person can register only one email ID or one mobile number.  We have to be very careful with our personal mobile number and email ID. That is communication with email id or SMS.

Enrollment ID

complete your registration candidate must have or provide an enrolment ID which is to Write down your notebook or Screenshot on your mobile/ desktop.

Password

Candidates have enrollment that is provided. Now the password must be 8 to 15 characters. one or two letters are also required. Based on the choice for date of birth for some letter for name keep your password information safe and Secure.

Marks distribution

For the candidate GATE, 2020 to student in Question paper 65 questions carry by 100 marks. In this total question paper part- 10 questions carried by 15 marks by general aptitude. And others 55 question their own subject 85 marks. The total examination time is 180 minutes. That means 65 question answers are required for 180 minutes.

That means 85% of your subject paper and 15% general aptitude section.

Question pattern

Each question has 4 choices  And the correct option should be 1 and will be provided with the wrong answer negative marking will be there. One of the questions is filling up the blank like this all are included in the question paper.

When Will I receive my admit card?

How many Gate papers can I apply for?

In the GATE 2022 examination, all are notified by the official website that fully clearly mentions that one candidate applied for one or two papers. Per subject application fees for SC, ST female candidate 750 rupees and general candidate 1500 rupees.

Admit card sufficient for gain inter examination center?

No, Admit card is not sufficient for inter in the examination center. Must be required to have a valid photo identity card. e .g - A voter ID card, Aadhar card, pan card, passport, driving license, etc.

When I can apply for GATE 2022?

Gate 2022 exam date:
